Report: Matthew Stafford is the worst QB in NFL and it’s not close

With the Detroit Lions off to a 0-5 start, the finger-pointing is well underway and many of those fingers are pointing directly at quarterback Matthew Stafford.

According to Pro Football Focus, Stafford ranks dead-last in the NFL when it comes to quarterbacks. That’s right Lions fans, out of the 47 quarterbacks who have taken a snap in the NFL this season, not one has been as bad as the Lions signal caller.

Stafford has an overall rating of 42.7, 4.4 points below the next lowest ranked passer, Matthew McGloin of the Oakland Raiders.

In case you were wondering, the top five quarterbacks in the league according to this rating system are Ben Roethlisberger (93.2), Carson Palmer (90.3), Andy Dalton (90.1), Tom Brady (89.2), and Aaron Rodgers (85.5).

What do you think Nation, is Stafford really the worst quarterback in the NFL? I’m sure it’s a bit of a stretch, but on the other hand it sure is tough to argue otherwise.
