REPORT: Matthew Stafford has ‘procedure’ done in offseason

Matthew Stafford of the Detroit Lions had an off-year in 2018 and he especially seemed to struggle late in the season.

One reason for those late season struggles may or may not be because he reportedly played with broken bones in his back.

Stafford suffered the injury in a Dec. 2 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, yet he continued to start for the remainder of the season.

On Tuesday, Stacey Dales of the NFL Network was interviewing Stafford following a joint training camp practice with the New England Patriots and he nonchalantly mentioned that he had a back procedure done during the offseason.

“How are you? I mean, the back procedure in the offseason and you played through it really all of last year.” Dales said to Stafford.

Stafford replied saying he is feeling good and he is happy to practicing.

Well, we knew there were reports that Stafford played with broken bones in his back but now we know he had a back procedure done this offseason.

Nation, do you think Stafford bounces back with a great season or will we see a repeat of 2018?
