Matthew Stafford‘s consecutive start streak will come to an end on Sunday as he has a fractured back and will not play vs. the Chicago Bears.
Report: Lions QB Matthew Stafford has fractured back, will not play vs. Bears
According to a report from Adam Schefter, Stafford traveled with the Lions to Chicago just so he could help prepare backup quarterback Jeff Driskel.
#Lions QB Matthew Stafford made the trip and is in position to help Jeff Driskel today. Driskel, by the way, is an interesting QB to game-plan for, considering how mobile he is. On short notice, a challenge for the #Bears https://t.co/Tpjdd3Zg03
