Fans hoping to see who their favorite NBA team selects in the 2020 NBA Draft will have to wait longer now.
Additionally, the wait for the start of next season will be extended as well.
According to a report from The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the NBA has agreed to push back several key dates, including the 2020 NBA Draft, the start of free agency, and ultimately the start of next season. The Draft was set for October 16, with free agency set to begin right after.
Dates will be determined at a later time. Early projections had the start of next season beginning around Christmas or early in 2021, though no official dates were ever set.
