The NCAA COVID-19 Advisory Panel has just released a statement saying that they recommend against sporting events being open to the public. They added that the events can take place with only essential personnel and limited family attendance.

This means there is a strong possibility that the 2020 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments will end up being played without fans in attendance.
