The Tennessee Titans have had 18 members of their organization test positive for COVID-19 during the past week, causing them to shut down in club activities.
And now, they’re the subject of an NFL/NFLPA investigation.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Titans have been looked into for potential violations of the league’s virus-related protocols since Friday. The league has also requested the team turn over videotapes of team activities to spot any potential violations.

Per Schefter, the investigation is centered around outside linebackers coach Shane Bowen for allegedly failing to report symptoms of the virus and wear the mandated face mask. The NFL has already fined several head coaches for failure to adhere to the safety guidelines, and has also threatened harsher penalties for teams who don’t comply.
Their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, originally scheduled for this afternoon, will take place on October 25.
