Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley may very well be the next player to leave the team via free agency. Reportedly, the Indianapolis Colts are currently outbidding the field for Fairley’s services by a wide margin. Fairley is considered by many to be the second ranked defensive tackle in free agency behind Ndamukong Suh.
According to Bleacher Report’s Ian Wharton, the Colts are ready to pony up the big bucks to land Fairley.
As for Nick Fairley's next home, I've heard the #Colts are offering around double the guaranteed money as anyone else.

If this turns out to be true, then Fairley is just another player the Lions let walk away for nothing because of a lack of planning by Martine Mayhew and Tom Lewand.
