Report: Pistons inquired about Nets’ Joe Johnson

UPDATE: According to ESPN New York, the Pistons reportedly (with an emphasis on “reportedly”) offered Brandon Jennings and a group of expirings:

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York, the Detroit Pistons have called about Brooklyn Nets shooting guard Joe Johnson.

At this point, there is nothing concrete to suggest a trade or even the vaguest proposal may be imminent. This is a report of a possible inquire.

Johnson, 33, is averaging 15.5 points per game for the Nets this year. He has two years and nearly $50 million remaining on his contract. We’ll allow Detroit Bad Boys to sum this one up.
