On Thursday, the Detroit Lions announced they have signed rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson.

According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, Hockenson is getting a huge deal from the Lions as he has signed a four-year deal worth $19.8 million which includes a $12.4 million signing bonus.
As Birkett noted in his piece, Hockenson said on draft night that he would play for free. That is something he obviously will not have to worry about.
