It has been well documented that the Detroit Tigers have a major hole in center field. No need to belabor the point.
Today it was reported that they were in contact with two possible replacements, Peter Bourjos and Gregor Blanco, for the center field position.
A couple of centerfielders I'm told the Tigers have been in touch with: Peter Bourjos and Gregor Blanco.

Bourjos spent the 2016 season in Philadelphia, where in 123 games (255 at-bats) he hit .251/.292/.389 with 23 RBI. He was also on our list of best replacements for Maybin.
Blanco spent 2016 with the San Francisco Giants in a limited role where he saw 274 at-bats, hit .224 with one home run and 18 RBIs.
It remains to be seen if the Tigers will pull the trigger on such a move, but with Spring Training looming around the corner, this is a question that desperately needs to be answered.
