As we know, Tom Brady is no longer a member of the New England Patriots as he decided to leave for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
But according to reports, the Buccaneers were not the only team Brady was interested in joining during the offseason.
According to NFL insider Jason LaCanfora, Brady and the New Orleans Saints had a mutual interest had Drew Brees decided to retire.

Strange little quirk to this Drew Brees saga … Had Brees retired, as he long opined about and strongly considered, I'm told Tom Brady had very serious interest in the Saints and vice versa. Brady was waiting and watching that closely. Would have been a very real possibility.
