The Detroit Tigers are adding another arm to their pitching rotation.
According to Jason Beck, the Tigers are finalizing a one-year contract with RHP Jose Urena worth $3.25 million:

Urena spent last six years with the Miami Marlins, where he was designated for assignment in November after posting a 5.40 ERA and 6.06 FIP in 23 1/3 innings. He was non-tendered in December.
The Dominican native has a career ERA of 4.60 and an 86 ERA+ across 142 games (597 innings).
