Richard Panik scores 1st goal as a Red Wing in unconventional fashion [VIDEO]

Detroit Red Wings forward Richard Panik scored his first goal since being acquired earlier this month as part of the trade that sent Anthony Mantha to the Washington Capitals.

And it wasn't exactly your conventional goal.

Panik flipped the puck from just inside the blue line towards Dallas Stars goalie Anton Khudobin, who juggled the puck before it fell to the ice. Only problem was, Khudobin didn't realize it.

Panik soon swooped in and tucked the puck behind the startled goalie, giving Detroit a 3-0 lead:

He'll certainly take it!
