The Detroit Red Wings were able to get a massive monkey off their backs Sunday afternoon, defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning for the first time in their last 17 tries.
Forward Robby Fabbri, who scored in the first period on a breakaway, tallied the shootout deciding goal to give his team a 5-4 win:

Anthony Mantha, Dylan Larkin, and Tyler Bertuzzi also tallied for Detroit, who won back to back games for the first time since early January. Goaltender Jonathan Bernier made 33 saves.
