It looks as though quarterback Rocky Lombardi‘s career in East Lansing has come to an end.
Minutes ago, it was announced that the Michigan State Spartans redshirt junior quarterback will be entering the transfer portal:

Over the last three years in East Lansing, the Clive, Iowa native appeared in 22 games, throwing 11 touchdowns and 14 interceptions along with a total of 1,901 yards.
He started the first six games of this season for the Spartans, and helped lead his teammates to an upset victory over the Michigan Wolverines on October 31, throwing for 323 yards with three TDs and no interceptions.
His final stat total for 2020 includes completing 84 of 157 passes for 1,090 yards with eight touchdowns and nine interceptions.
