Kyle Lobstein has been with the Tigers since 2013 and has a career record of 1-2. He is expected to make spot starts for the Tigers if an injury arises at some point throughout the season.
The Tigers acquired Alex Wilson in the trade that sent Rick Porcello to Boston and landed them Yoenis Cespedes. Wilson struggled this Spring with allowing 10 runs in 6 2/3 innings of action.
Claimed off waivers by Detroit in 2014, Josh Zeid will pitch from the bullpen in Toledo Mud Hens. Zeid was a member of the Houston Astros prior to being put on waivers and claimed by the Tigers.
Alberto Cabrera, another offseason minor league acquisition, has a career record of 1-1 and an ERA of 5.20 with the Chicago Cubs. These moves leave Detroit with 39 players still in camp.
