Michigan State held its annual Spring player draft on Tuesday for the upcoming Green-White game, being played this Saturday at 3 p.m. at Spartan Stadium. The game will also be aired on the Big Ten Network.
The draft began with Spartan seniors being split into two teams. From there, the two teams took turns drafting underclassmen. However, unlike a typical draft, each position is drafted separately before moving on to the next position.
For the second straight year, junior offensive lineman Brian Allen was taken with the top pick. Meanwhile, true freshman wide receiver Donnie Corley was the first wide out drafted.
One surprising development came when the Green Team, led by redshirt senior quarterback Tyler O’Connor, selected redshirt freshman QB Brian Lewerke ahead of 4th-year junior QB Damion Terry.
The game can be seen on Big Ten Network at 3 p.m. ET. The Spartans Sports Network will also be broadcasting the game on radio across the state of Michigan in various outlets. Here is the rosters for each team as well as the draft order for the underclassmen taken by each team:
