The NHL Draft is on Friday, and Detroit Red Wings fans are pining to see who the very first draft selection that new general manager Steve Yzerman will be making since his return to Hockeytown in April.
But could another NHL team be eyeing Detroit’s #6 draft selection?
According to The Athletic Vancouver writer J.D. Burke, the Vancouver Canucks could be gearing up to offer Yzerman a trade in order to acquire Detroit’s draft pick.
