On Sunday, news broke that wide receiver Dontrelle Inman had asked for and been granted his release from the New England Patriots.
This news certainly caught the attention of Detroit Lions fans as the thought is that GM Bob Quinn would like to add a veteran WR to the mix following the injury to Jermaine Kearse in the first preseason game of 2019.
According to a RUMOR which is floating around Twitter, the Lions are already in talks with Inman and he could sign as early as Monday.

Though this is still 100% rumor at this point, it would not surprise me at all if the Lions did sign Inman rather quickly.
If you recall, Inman met with the Lions this offseason prior to signing with the Patriots so there is clearly at least some mutual interest.
