Detroit currently employs the services of Eric Ebron at the tight end spot. Should they be able to sign Cook away from division rivals the Green Bay Packers, he would add some depth to the roster spot. Cook played 10 games last year with the Packers and caught 30 passes, 19 of which resulted in first downs. The 6-foot-5 pass catcher is an 8-year veteran and has spent time with the Tennessee Titans and (formerly) St. Louis Rams.
