I am not going to lie, posting rumor pieces makes me feel a bit dirty, especially if they end up being a load of horse crap. That being said, we are the voice of the fans, and sometimes rumors end up coming true and it is our job to let you know about something as soon as we hear about it.
Last night, we posted a rumor that Michigan WR Tarik Black suffered a foot injury and that he would be out indefinitely. Unfortunately, for Wolverines fans, that rumor ended up being true.
Tonight’s rumor has the potential to be even bigger, especially if you are a fan of the Detroit Lions. After spending the day cleaning out a rental property (IT SUCKED), I came home, hopped on the good old Twitter machine, and there it was, staring me right in the face as much as a tweet can, a rumor (from a limo driver) that All-Pro LB Khalil Mack was in the Motor City and was scheduled to meet with the Lions on Monday.

The tweet was posted by none other than Dan Leach of 97.1 The Ticket, which does give it some credibility. (Of course, the limo driver may have had a bit too much to drink and thought he could pull a quick one).
Just heard from a Metro Detroit limo driver that he just picked up Raiders LB Khalil Mack and he is going to meet with #Lions GM Bob Quinn Monday. Stay tuned…….

Mack is currently under contract with the Oakland Raiders, but there has been a lot of speculation that he could soon be traded and the Lions are certainly a team that could use his services. That being said, in order to get him, Bob Quinn would have to be willing to give up some high draft picks.
We can not stress enough that this is JUST A RUMOR, but who knows, the Lions are due for something to go their way, right?
