According to a rumor which had surfaced, Detroit Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman has hired former University of Michigan Strength and Conditioning coach Mike Barwis to take over as Director of Human Performance.
Interesting News: Mike Barwis, former Head Strength & Conditioning coach for University of Michigan Football, is now the Director of Human Performance for the Detroit Red Wings.
Barwis was heavily recruited by Steve Yzerman. The Red Wings will be completely revamping program.
