NOTE: At this point, this is still rumor. We are keeping our eyes and ears open to confirm.
A report surfaced earlier this month that Detroit Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman was going to Finland to scout Edmonton Oilers forward Jesse Puljujärvi, a former 4th overall draft selection.
And now, according to a rumor floating around, it seems as though an offer may have been made.
The rumor from Finland indicates that Yzerman has allegedly tabled an offer to the Oilers to acquire Puljujärvi in exchange for a 2022 1st round pick and minor league defenseman Oliwer Kaski.

A rough translation:
The Oilers still technically own Puljujärvi’s rights, and of course, are now led by former Red Wings GM Ken Holland.
