The Detroit Tigers are playing a doubleheader this afternoon at Comerica Park against the Oakland Athletics, and they'll be looking to get back on the winning side of things after having dropped the first matchup of the series last night.
However, the competitiveness was put on pause in the 5th inning following a nasty collision in the outfield between A's left fielder Chad Pinder and shortstop Elvis Andrus, as both were trying to catch a bloop single from Detroit's Willi Castro.

Both players were immediately attended to by team personnel, and after a brief delay, both would eventually appear no worse for wear and would elect to stay in the game.
