A frightening scene unfolded tonight in an Ontario Hockey League game.
Niagara IceDogs goaltender Tucker Tynan was severely injured after reportedly being cut by an errant skate blade. Replays show a Knights' player colliding with Tynan in the crease; he immediately began bleeding profusely, and a pool of blood was seen on the ice. The cut was reportedly to Tynan's leg.
He was stretchered off the ice after being worked on by team paramedics for about 10 minutes.
My thoughts are with Niagara IceDogs goalie Tucker Tynan right now. Praying for a full recovery for him. Just terrible seeing someone get injured like that ???? He's been such a warrior in net for us. Game has been postponed. pic.twitter.com/ySuHkVGAmQ
