According to Adam Schefter, Jacksonville Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell just called Detroit Lions GM Bob Quinn about a potential trade either during or before tonight’s opening round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Here’s something worth monitoring tonight: Jaguars’ GM Dave Caldwell just called Lions’ GM Bob Quinn about this evening’s picks, per source.

As we know, the Lions hold the No. 3 overall pick. The Jaguars currently own the No. 9 and No. 20 picks in the first round, the No. 36 overall pick (Round 2) and the No. 73 overall pick (3rd Round).
This may come down to who the Lions favor, Jeffrey Okudah or Derrick Brown and the decision may not be easy as Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia reportedly do not agree on which player they should chose.
The draft begins with Detroit. Teams are having a tough time figuring out if the Lions are going with Jeff Okudah or Derrick Brown. A league source indicated to me GM Bob Quinn favors Okudah while head coach Matt Patricia wants Brown. If the Lions do trade back, it’s believed they won’t go past the Chargers‘ pick at No. 6.
Nation, what would you do if you were the Lions?
