Senator Ted Cruz tosses shade at Detroit Pistons while describing presidential debate

If you watched the first presidential debate of 2020 on Tuesday night, you saw what was comparable to two spoiled 4-year olds who were willing to whine and cry until they finally got their way.

Following the debate, Senator Ted Cruz was analyzing the train-wreck of a debate, comparing it to the 1990s Detroit Pistons.

“It was a raucous debate,” said Cruz. “It kind of reminded me of Detroit Pistons basketball in the '90’s, where there were a lot of hard fouls, a lot of missed shots.

“But at the end of the day, I doubt the debate changed the election in any fundamental way.”
