Several players once again missing practice for the Detroit Lions

scheduledWe continue to inch closer and closer to the game schedule for the Detroit Lions, who are still trying to get as healthy as possible before the real competition begins.

But for now, they're settling for competition against one another on the practice field at the team's training facility in Allen Park. For today's session, several players were once again missing while they rehabilitate their injuries.

Those players include D'Andre Swift, Bo Scarbrough, DeShawn Hand, Nick Bawden and Mike Ford. Ford is the latest Lions player to go down, having suffered a rolled ankle during yesterday's practice.
