First up is Richard Goldman, a former student broadcaster at U-M. Talking about his relationship with Bo. Late in 1981 I came in to talk to Bo, had migraine. Bo told him to go to Anderson for a referral to another doctor. Was fondled. I went to Bo and said this just happened.

Bo said go to Don Canham. Canham just stared at me. Next year same thing. In 1983 went to Anderson office talking to secretary looking for new medicine. First thing he said was to lay down on table and give physical. I said hell no. Marched into Canham office and yelled about it

Goldman is laying a lot of blame at Canham feet. Saying he should have acted. “Don Canham had the power. Back in the 60s he did nothing, back in the 70s he did nothing.”

Next up is former football player Jon Vaughn is calling on his fellow Wolverine players to demand action and transparency from U-M
— David Jesse (@reporterdavidj) June 16, 2021
Vaughn calls for university to make records to be open to athletes. The time is past for soft apologies that places the blame only in the past

Vaughn: we will no longer be faceless. We will no longer be quiet. We will not retreat.
— David Jesse (@reporterdavidj) June 16, 2021
Vaughn: says the kid who was recruited here is no longer a kid. I am a man. A Michigan Man. Say my name. I am not John Doe. I am Jon Vaughn
