For those of you who follow the Detroit Tigers organization closely, this will not come as a huge surprise.
On Monday, Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire spoke to reporters, and when he was asked about the future of Isaac Paredes in light of No. 1 pick Spencer Torkelson being announced at a third baseman at the time of the draft.
Gardenhire noted that Paredes is athletic and that he can probably play second base and maybe even some shortstop.
It sure sounds like the plan is for Tork to play 3B and for Paredes to be moved.
Gardenhire on Isaac Paredes in light of drafting Torkelson at 3B. "I know the organization, we call him 3B. I know this kid's athletic. We can probably go 2B no problem, maybe some SS. He can really move. He's a very talented kid that can do some things."
