When Jim Harbaugh was hired to be the next head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, not many would have believed that the program would be where it currently is in Year 6.
Following a 49-11 loss to Wisconsin on Saturday, under the lights, at the Big House, a very high percentage of people agree that Harbaugh’s time at Michigan has come to an end and that he should be fired as soon as possible.
Well, if you are hoping for Harbaugh to be fired, you may want to sit down for this one.
According to a report from Jeff Lesson of 97.1 The Ticket, a source with ties to Michigan has told him that Harbaugh will be given a contract at the conclusion of the 2020 season unless he decides he does not want it. Lesson notes that his source has indicated that Harbaugh will not be fired.
Source w ties to U of M says Jim Harbaugh gets a contract extension at end of season. This will not change unless Harbaugh changes his mind. He will not be fired .

Michigan fans, how do you feel about this?
Michigan State fans, how do you feel about this?
Jim harbaugh has worn out his welcome like he has every other place he’s gone to, it’s a shame , I think by now we would have at least competed for the Big ten championship oh well, Jim is a strange bird,
When he talks, doesn’t seem he makes a complete sentence it’s just weird I’m sure he is intelligent and knows more about football and then 99% of the people that call in and write in but something is not working they are not playing for him he seems like he’s out of it the defensive coordinator needs to be changed and most likely the offensive coordinator if he wants to stay that’s what I would do must get rid of offense and defense coordinators if you want to renew your contract otherwise time to go back to the NFL.
He is so close to losing his job! don’t understand why he didn’t make a change at defensive coordinator last year maybe he was saving the move for this year just to prolong his stay here! Defense has really good players on it should be doing way better so it has to be the scheme they are in..
