Source: Michigan, Ohio State among four Big Ten teams to reach out to Big 12

On Monday morning, Dan Patrick of The Dan Patrick Show reported that a source of his had indicated that both the Big Ten and Pac-12 will officially pull the plug on their 2020 football seasons on Tuesday. Patrick noted that Big Ten presidents voted 12-2 in favor of canceling the season with the only two teams voting to play were Nebraska and Iowa.

Well, according to Rick Neuheisel on ESPN CFB XM radio, a source of his told him that Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, and Penn State have reached out to the Big 12.

To be honest, at this point, I am not believing much of anything until an official announcement is made but I do find it hard to believe that presidents of Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State would vote against playing football in 2020 (according to Dan Patrick) and then turn around and try to join forces with the Big 12.

I have been saying since early April that unless cases of COVID-19 were way down by Aug. 1, there is no way that we will have a college football season in 2020 and I am sticking to that prediction, even though it pains me to do so.
