The Detroit Pistons have indicated that they’re moving forward with their rebuild by sending big man Andre Drummond to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for some expiring contracts.

And one NBA source has indicated that another big move is a possibility. Yahoo NBA writer Vincent Goodwell indicates that the Pistons buying out the contract of soon to be free-agent Reggie Jackson is “an option”:
However, Goodwell believes that such a move is “premature” for the time being.
Would it be a wise move for the Pistons to buy out Jackson’s contract?
