New Michigan State Spartans head coach Mel Tucker is lending a big assist to his community as he works from home thanks to the spread of the novel coronavirus.
He's donated meals to night shift workers at Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital, as well as McLaren Greater Lansing in a touching effort of generosity.
Thanks to @MSU_Football Head Coach Mel Tucker and his family for donating meals to some of our incredible night shift at Sparrow Hospital. We are overwhelmed by the community support we’ve received. #GoGreenGoWhite pic.twitter.com/y7IxrWCcpT

“I just wanted to send a little thank-you dinner out tonight to all the night shift nurses and doctors at Sparrow from Arcadia Smokehouse,” the first year Spartans head coach explained. “I deeply appreciate all that you are doing to help our community. Thank you again so much. Be safe and go green.”
It's certainly a great time to be giving back to those who are helping us battle the spread of the pandemic that's already changed life as we know it in so many ways.
