The Michigan State Spartans rebounded from their losing streak this afternoon in a big way, knocking off the No. 8 ranked Northwestern Wildcats in an upset in East Lansing.
It’s the second major win for new Spartans coach Mel Tucker, who took over from the legendary Mark Dantonio earlier this
year.
Soon after, another Spartans legend chimed in.
Mateen Cleaves, who led the Spartans basketball team to a National Title, posted a celebratory video and toasted to Tucker:
