The Michigan State Spartans still have four more games to go in an effort to improve their resume and solidify their spot in the NCAA Tournament. Among those is the all-important season finale on the road against Maryland.
The game, originally scheduled for Sunday March 5, has been moved up to Saturday afternoon, March 4.

The Big Ten announced the schedule change on Tuesday. The game will now tip off at 2 p.m. ET.
It will be a humongous opportunity for MSU (16-11, 8-6 Big Ten) to pick up what would easily be their biggest win of the season, on the road against the Terrapins (22-5, 10-4 Big Ten).
Additionally, it means an extra day of rest for both the Spartans and Terps, with the Big Ten Tournament taking place in Washington D.C. the following week. Michigan State will almost assuredly be opening play on that Thursday, March 9, unless they were to get on a run and sneak into the top 4 of the Big Ten standings, thus earning a double-bye and not play until Friday.
