On Wednesday, the Detroit Tigers selected 3B Spencer Torkelson with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft.
Torkelson played 1B in college but he was announced as a 3B and Tigers GM Al Avila confirmed that is where he will play.
Following the selection, a photo was shown with Torkelson’s Tigers jersey nameplate and it is absolutely beautiful!
