Spencer Turnbull’s final out vs. Seattle to earn no-hitter [VIDEO]

It was his 50th start in the Majors, and he made the most of it.

Detroit Tigers pitcher Spencer Turnbull threw the 8th no hitter in Detroit Tigers history tonight against the Seattle Mariners, earning nine strikeouts while walking just a pair of batters. It’s the first no-hitter in Tigers history since Justin Verlander did so in May of 2011, just over a decade ago.
