Go ahead and count outspoken analyst Stephen A. Smith among those who would like to see Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose traded to the Los Angeles Lakers before tomorrow’s 3:00 PM EST Trade Deadline.
The main reasoning Smith spoke of is the Lakers need someone to be able to score when LeBron James is off the floor, and Rose fits that bill.

“I think Derrick Rose would be a perfect complement because when LeBron is in the game, the Lakers are elite offensively because of what they do in pick and roll play,” Smith said. “When [LeBron’s] out, they don’t have anybody with the ball in their hands that’s a threat offensively. That’s when Derrick Rose comes in.”
All eyes remain on the Pistons to see what they’ll be doing tomorrow.
