As the NFL trade deadline approaches (Nov. 3), there will be a ton of potential trade proposals tossed around by media members and approximately 0.01% of those trades will end up taking place.
That being fun, it is fun to read about these potential deals, even if they are generally a bit far-fetched.

On Thursday, while listening to the Stoney and Jansen Show on 97.1 the ticket, the idea was floated that would land the Detroit Lions with both DE J.J. Watt and WR Antonio Brown.
The double move that would land the Lions with Watt and Brown would be trading WR Kenny Golladay to the Texans for Watt, straight up, and then signing Brown.
The rationale is that the Texans may be willing to move on from Watt, whose contract will be up following the 2021 season, and that if the Lions are not planning to pay Golladay the money he is likely demanding, both teams could benefit.

As far as signing Antonio Brown goes, the thought presented on 97.1 The Ticket is that it would be a low-risk move to bring in a player who could still be a top 5 receiver in the NFL.
Nation, if you were Lions’ GM Bob Quinn, are these moves you would make? Would you trade Golladay for J.J. Watt straight-up?
