Super Bowl odds updated; Lions getting no respect

According to the online sportsbook Bovada, the Green Bay Packers (6/1 odds) are now the odds-on favorite to win the Super Bowl after surpassing the Seattle Seahawks (13/2 odds).

The Detroit Lions (40/1) are not getting any love whatsoever from the sportsbook as teams like the Minnesota Vikings (33/1), San Francisco 49ers (33/1) and Buffalo Bills (33/1) all sit ahead of them.

Bovada has the odds of the Lions winning the NFC Championship set at 22/1, tied with the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and St. Louis Rams. Only the Chicago Bears (28/1), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (40/1) and Washington Redskins (66/1) have worse odds than Detroit.

If you are the betting type and believe in the Lions in 2015, you may want to put down a small wager.
