On Friday, former Detroit Lions offensive guard T.J. Lang officially announced his retirement from the National Football League.
Lang has suffered multiple concussions and other injuries throughout his career and at 31-years-old, hanging up his cleats was probably the right move.

But maybe Lang is not yet done with professional sports.
Following the announcement of his retirement, Lang tweeted at the Detroit Red Wings, giving them a reminder that he is available for emergency goalie duties.
@DetroitRedWings friendly reminder I am now available for emergency goalie duties.

Obviously, Lang is just having some fun but it sure would be a sight to see a 6-4, 315-pound man suit up and play goalie for the Wings!
