The Detroit Red Wings may have found another gem in the draft with 20-year old Andreas Athanasiou. He was drafted 110th overall in the fourth round of the 2012 draft. After scoring 49 goals in the OHL in his final year of junior, he has now completed his first full season of pro-level hockey where he contributed 32 points in 55 games for the Griffins despite missing seven weeks with broken jaw that had to be wired shut.
