Not Quite Finished Yet!

It felt fitting to borrow a line from one of Detroit’s icons, Eminem, to succinctly sum up the end of that game. It was a frantic, chaotic, messy, and exciting end to a game that saw the Wings go up three goals early, give up a goal in each of the three periods to square it up, before Darren Helm caused the Joe Louis Arena’s top to blow.

Wings Still Searching for Answers

The Wings will head back to Detroit with some serious questions, and no definitive answers…yet. Mike Babcock thought that he had the answers for a team that looked over-matched in Game 1, but it produced little in the way of results in Game 2. Sharks Draw First Blood, Hold off Wings Rally

Tonight, the Red Wings saw their season best 5 game winning streak snapped on home ice against a team that has struggled at the Joe in their 20 year history. Tonight’s win gave San Jose something like a 6-30 record in Detroit since their inception in 1991. It was a pair of players riding hot streaks that got the job done for the Sharks late in the game to give them the win.
