Officials miss calls all the time in sports, it is human nature. Umpires miss calls at first base while some NFL referees are more lenient than others with holding penalties.
The referees on the hardwood are prone to miss a call or two every now and then as well. Just like this obvious traveling violation committed by current Thunder point guard and former Detroit Pistons backup D.J. Augustin.
Augustin gets an outlet pass on a fast break and picks up the ball at about the 3-point arc and literally walks it in for the easy bucket. The best part about the play? He was not called for traveling, but the Houston Rockets were called for goaltending.
This reminds me of a play from a season ago from former Timberwolves forward and current Rockey Corey Brewer.
This was also not called for traveling.
