On Wednesday, Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Josh Donaldson made what may have been the catch of the year so far in Major League Baseball.
The catch came in the bottom of the eighth inning against the Tampa Bay Rays and actually helped keep a bid for a perfect game alive for pitcher Marco Estrada. Estrada ended up losing the perfect game when he gave up a one-out infield single to Logan Forsythe of the Rays later in the same inning.
