Draymond Green’s ascent continues. The Saginaw native registered a 12-point, 8-rebound, and 7-assist performance in his team’s Game 2 win over the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals Thursday night. Now, we have his first big step in the endorsement game, starring in a new Beats By Dre spot featuring an unreleased track from Eminem.
The track, titled “Phenomenon” is set to release as a part of the soundtrack for the upcoming film Southpaw starring Jake Gyllenhaal, due to release in July.
The commercial itself features Green answering a laundry list of the media’s worst offerings, reflecting real life queries such as, “How does it feel to play third fiddle to two all-stars?”, “Are you too small for your position?”, “Why are you so arrogant?” and “Did you see your mom’s tweets tonight?”
The piece closes with Green adorning Dre’s stylish headphones as the Eminem track fades in.
