Shaquille O’Neal moves fan to tears via selfie

A man of the people, former NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal took a break from last night’s appearance on TNT’s Inside the NBA for a quick selfie and a kiss with an adoring and apparently very passionate fan. We think those are tears of joy, though Kenny Smith may feel otherwise.

Worth noting: O’Neal is almost taller than his upright admirer while slouching in his seat.

Of course, former Lakers superstars have a history of inducing tears of passion in the wake of their greatness. After all, we’re still just a couple of years removed from this gem following Kobe Bryant’s appearance in Asia:

Predictably, professional sports leagues have received a flurry of positive and negative feedback from their fans over the years when it comes to their rule changes.

Today, we begin the first of a 5-part series on some of the most controversial and attention-drawing rules & strategies in the major professional sports, including the NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, and PGA. First up is the NBA and its unwritten defensive strategy most notably dubbed as the Hack-a-Shaq.
