“Just wait until Jim Harbaugh finally finds his quarterback.”

That is a phrase that has been uttered by many Michigan fans and analysts around the country over the past five years or so.

Well, I am here to tell you that you had better take cover because Harbaugh has finally found his quarterback and his name is Joe Milton.

On Saturday night, Milton looked relaxed and in command 100% of the time as the Wolverines led the Minnesota Golden Gophers 49-24 through 3 quarters. During the first three quarters, Milton completed 12 of 18 passes for 144 yards and a touchdown while rushing the ball 8 times for 52 yards and a touchdown.

It has only been three-quarters of one game but if this game is any indication, it sure does look like Milton is the real deal and he is going to be a problem for a lot of teams, including Ohio State. Yes, I just said that.

Buckle up Wolverines’ fans, this is going to be a fun season!
