UPDATE:

Tavon Wilson has reportedly signed with the Indianapolis Colts and we wish him the best of luck.

On Saturday, former Detroit Lions safety Tavon Wilson was in Indianapolis to work out for the Colts and though it has not yet been confirmed, it sure sounds like he may have found a new home.

Within the past hour, Wilson took to Twitter to post a goodbye video message for Detroit Lions fans.

Wilson, who played four seasons with the Lions, had the most tackles of his career (98) in 2019 but it was not enough for Bob Quinn to bring him back for another season.

Wherever it is that Tavon landed, we certainly wish him the best of luck as he was a class act during his time in Detroit.

“Thank you Detroit! Appreciate all of the relationships made over the past 4 years on the field & in the community. Nothing but love for the @Lions organization & the city.”

Projecting the Detroit Lions 53-man roster (Vol. 1)

Detroit Lions training camp 2020 is officially underway! Well, at least the COVID-19 testing of the camp is underway as seven Lions players have already been added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

That being said, the hope is that all seven of those players (five who I think will make the 53-man roster) will go through the return protocol with no problems in time to get in some work before the regular season begins.

Though the Lions have not held a single padded practice, I thought it would be fun to take a premature look at what I think the 53-man roster will look like when camp breaks.

Here we go! (Don’t hold me to this!)
